/vr/ I'm having a hard time playing a PS1 game on PS2. The disc is immaculate and has no scratches, and I can play the CD Audio on the disc just fine. But when I try to play the game the PS2 tries to load it and then sends me back to the system's menu screen. Pic related is the game. I don't see it on any lists of PS1 games that aren't compatible with the PS2. Could this be caused by a dirty lens or the system itself, or is it the game's problem?

Does the system play other PS1 games without problem? Have you tried the disc in another PS2 or a PS1?

Yeah they are. I'll let you know how the ass is if I get it working

Some really early PS1 games don't play perfectly on it but I've never had one just not start before. This one's pretty early but not as early as say Discworld which does start. Haven't tried it on any other systems yet.
