Hey, /vr/, board traveller here. I was wondering what are some /vr/ approved videos that have to do with the technical inner workings of older systems. I've been watching a few based on how sound works and have been finding the stuff fascinating despite being a novice in technical knowledge.
fascinating like how?
like Sony making sound components for both Sega and Nintendo.
like yamaha master race in mega drive
like famicom with its sound expansions being controlled by midi devices or tracker software

It doesn't have to be hardware or sound related specifically. Perhaps impressive older games that were programmed cleverly or how things work in that realm.
not videos, but interesting nevertheless

8-bit guy, while not super in depth, is pretty good. Especially when talking about sound hardware.

This guy really seems to know his stuff. It's just a shame he doesn't do more english language videos.
