What's it like playing dreamcast/psx games with a mouse?

i played with dc mouse and keyboard on the floor, it was awkward - when i get a new dc keyboard though ill try it properly on a desk and i expect to have a wonderful time with games that support it, of which i own most of them i think

Some Dreamcast games were designed with a mouse in mind. I was so used to Mouse+Keyboard that I couldn't get into Halo nor Goldeneye. It took one night of playing Gears of War co-op with my friends to finally get used to using analog sticks.

that's cool man I'm jealous of your collection. I want to play q3, ut and outtrigger too. it's a shame there aren't more exclusive first person shooters on the dreamcast.

I want to get a playstation mouse too so i can play quake 2, the twin stick aimming is hyper sensitive and is basically unplayable.
