What are some of your favourite raising simulators? Games like Monster Rancher, Princess Maker, Wonder Project J etc.
>tfw never made any of my Princesses Queen in any Princess Maker
SHINJI IKARI RAISING PROJECT
Wrestle Angels
Creatures
I was playing an Atelier and having comfy lighthearted fun then I wanted to read opinions of it on the internet, people said it was bland, boring and pointless, and now I'm hesitating to go back. Why am I so influentiable?
:(

Well if you enjoy it then do it. Just don't read the opinions.
Let's make a thread about the weirdest too.

There's a raising simulator for this thing on the Wonderswan.

Whats the end goal? What does it turn into?
>>4133789
if you fail, Giygas.

There's also a Rei version
Dekitate High School. Run your own anime high school.

>Ywn fuck Shinji and Asuka, both in cute dresses at the same time
Why live

>love everything about wonder project j, art, story, characters, music, world and such
>suck at raising sims and end up getting too frustrated
I recently got a super everdrive so maybe I'll try again but it sucks. If this was like any other genre it would be one of my all time favorite games.
>>4133482
That's on my list of things to try
>>4134463
Yeah I feel with raising sims you pretty much have to plan the entire game schedule out before hand and research what events happen on what days.
Is this worth playing?
>>4134602
Wonder Project's not that type of game, tho. There's no time limit.
Someone give me a quick rundown on Monster Rancher
>>4135049
Pokemon meets Tamogochi with music cds.
Did anyone actually play this?

I played the Saturn version of Graduation II and found it kinda boring. It may have been because I also played Princess Maker 2 around the same time and that's such a great game that others pale in comparison.
It's been 20 years so I'm going to give Graduation another try and see if I appreciate it more now. Also Debut.

I regret not buying a WS when I had the chance. Is that game RARE and prohibitive?
>>4134116
I remember when Rei's raising project game came out, it was a big deal. Or at least, I remember the Gainax site promoting the fuck out of it. I bought some software from them and they came with Rei's game promo.
I never played it, I assume it's like a Princess Maker?
I just ordered these wish me luck
>Still no California Raisins joke.
Fo shame /vr/.
>>4137923
Yep, plan out schedule, her stats change depending on what your plan out. Even has the RPG elements of Princess Maker but instead you fight angels.
The bad ending is legit End of Evangelion happens.

>Translation never ever
>>4140136
I thought that was just a port of the first game
>tfw no nadia raising sim
>>4133410
This is the one game that's made me interested in learning some Japanese. Wish it had a translation.

It's interesting to see Atelier brought up in this thread. The company that makes them calls the genre "RPG," but when I played Atelier Marie it felt more like a simpler Princess Maker than the sort of thing I usually expect from an RPG.

Josette a cute

So who has the most swagger walkcycle. Wonder Project J or Treasure Master?
There's too few of this genre in English
>>4146280
Yeah, sadly.
I'm still grateful we got a fan-translation of Wonder Project J2 at all.
I remember seeing screenshots of the game on magazines back in 1996, and thinking I'd never be able to play it. It was better than I ever expected.
>>4146280
They just never caught on in English countries.
