Are there still any tournaments for this game? I've played

Never heard of any. Not surprising as most older players who still play Tekken really got their starting during Tekken 3 and Tag.

Tekken 2 is far often overshadowed by Tekken 3. I feel 2 is criminally underrated. I think 2 has better music and I really miss playing as Devil.

It definitely has a better roster than 3. The only bad thing I can think about 2 is it's slower paced.

Is the PS2 arcade port worth it?

Is there any reason to play Tekken 2 when Tekken Tag Tournament exists? Given that there's 1 v. 1 mode in Tekken Tag and all the characters that are in Tekken 2.

i would have to agree. This was my first Tekken to own (but not my first fighting game, started with Street Fighter II). Something about this one just sets it out above the rest. would love for tournament scene. How are the characters ranked?
