I have a soft spot for the SNES port of Fatal Fury 2, simply because it was the one I had as a kid, I played it so much, and it's also the reason why Yamada is my favorite.

Me thinks Daddy Bogard had beef with Geese over a whole different reason than crime.

Other than being one of the precursors to king of fighters I don't think this series has a ton going for it. MotW is the epitome of style over substance.

I wonder how Geese is even going to control in there. Are they expecting Tekken players to be able to do pretzels?

FF2/FFSpecial had a lot of "depth" as FG. The series was always fun to play at least, which is more than you can say about games like Rival Schools or Art of Fighting.

I've liked Real Bout 2, FFS, and the first Real Bout when I stumbled upon them on a bootleg emulator disc.

Garou MOTW's a given.

As is my favorite there being Terry. Kim's also always cool.

The OVAs are a fun watch. The second OVA (Drunk Terry, Clean Shaven Krauser, Joe getting bodied in a hotel) is my favorite out of the 3.

Wild Ambition was pretty janky, even on an actual Hyper Neogeo cab. Granted, I played it on a random-ass carnival arcade and the machine was beat up as fuck.

I have the same experience except with the port of Fatal Fury Special. I actually think the rendition of certain themes (Andy's Theme, Geese's Theme) actually sound better than the MVS version.

I love the art style and character designs of these games but never got into them since they don't seem very active on Fightcade. Which one is the best?

Really pissed about that still 3 years later. I mean come on, these ports released in like 2007 well after the MK violence controversies, are you really telling me we can't have red pixels in this day and age? Games are great but it still feels like a waste of $40.
