They made a brand new episode 20 years after release, developed by the most iconic devs who made the original.

If you're going to do one level, I would do the first one. That's the one most people are going to recognize, for sure.

There is a Duke wad that is supposedly the original DNF.

I couldn't get some of the textures to work properly, but it was interesting.

Or maybe it was just someone remaking the released game in one of the old Duke games.

Well if you're remaking Duke then it should obviously have all the shit Duke originally had and true to it.

Just do it as a test. Then just make a new game. A solid 2D/3D game with tons of polish would be popular. Or make it fully 3D.

From what I understand they were included in Megaton but they didn't actually have the rights to them.
