I'm wanting to get a laptop for use with retro gaming. Doom specifically.
I'd like to use GZDoom features which means Nvidia works best.
Anybody have experience with a Lenovo thinkpad?

Yes you can run doom on many things but AMD is shit for opengl, so if you want to edit things/make maps or use more advanced features (by doom standards) it can get annoying

thinkpads are seriously great, but you need to watch out which series though. check /g/ for help.

If you want a Thinkpad for retro gaming (assuming emulation rather than running DOS/Win9x natively) consider a W510.
They are still plenty beefy for this purpose and the Quadro GPUs can run 15khz modelines natively if you're into that kind of thing.
