What does twitter have to do with your preferred method of internet connectivity? Besides twitter itself is great for a lot of things. Those big box PC games in the back. Sure brings back memories.

I remember going to EB on a Black Friday, there were no lines or camping outside then (you can just walk in whenever) and just picking up the Total Annihilation Commander Pack (wish I kept its box) for $10USD. Being convinced on boxart and description/sample imagaes on the back to pick up games like Sam & Max: Hit the Road. Even the variety of console games on display were nice to explore. Now all the shops around me pretty much are Funko Pop! figures and foam Minecraft swords everywhere with a few games.


I got an Asian Dreamcast in that day, so I didn't participate in the US launch. To my memory, no one did. Aside from 3 people, including myself who had a Dreamcast, everyone, said "I'll wait for the PS2." There was no protection nor saving Sega.
