Ive been looking for a CRT for over a year and just havent been able to find one, they have long been tossed away.
I found pic related for $10, its a 480p LCD which i assume is one of the very fist since it isnt widescreen.
It has a SCART input, will this be good enough for older consoles? I currently use a 43" LED TV and the picture is ass.

How the fuck can't you find a damn CRT, come back and try harder
Hell if you ask really nicely you can even pick one up at a recycling centre.

Nope.
My country gave everyone $900 in 2007, most people threw out their old tv then and bought flat screens.
Ive been scouring ebay, gumtree, craigslist and facebook groups but none have came up.
On ebay the only ones that do pop up are hundreds of kilometers away and the people wont ship them.

What country is this
Also have you really tried going to the recycling centre?
>>4119976
Yes. the only crts ive seen there are broken as people just throw them around.

Grab the car go into the largest city in the area, acquire a CRT.

>what country
Australia. Seems that giving everybody a lump sum is what saved them from the global recession.
They never had one!
No wonder why everybody has 2007-era flatscreeens in their homes!

>will this be good enough for older consoles?
God no.
>>4119961
No.
LED/LCD from 2010 and newer if 1080p sony can be amazing for retro. For Samsung 2014 and newer for UHD it can be amazing. For lots of TVs of the last few years they can be.
Back then LCD/LED were incredibly slow and even their blur was usually 20ms GTG for the highest end models. Let alone the 100+ms delay.
Get a CRT monitor/tv/PVM or one of the tvs I listed above (or if you can a lot of DLP projectors have almost no delay from 2013 and newer)

Import one from NZ. There are plenty of B&W TVs laying around ever since they switched to color a few years ago. kek.

So unnecessary. Just go to a charity shop they always have CRTs
