I'm trying to remember this old-ass late 80s early/mid 90s game. It was an adventure point and click with some combat elements. You fought shit like rabbits and there was a time limit where a dragon would hatch from its egg and destroy everything. The protagonist looked somewhat like Guybrush and I distinctly remember a part where a she-vampire would kill you in a castle if you picked the wrong options.
Quest for Glory 4 : Shadows of Darkness?

yes, this was exactly it
thank you

Is this game closer to RPG games, or Point and click adventures?

Also, does the Police Quest series still hold up?
>>4097237
AFAIK it's the last of the PoC Adventure/RPG hybrid genre.
Actually I can't think of any other games quite like the quest for glory series that was quit like this. I wouldnt count QFG V though, it has more of a forgotten realms feel to it.

Second for this. I want to know.
I've been trying to remember a couple of low end capable PC games I played in 2000.
One was a space ship game, first person, maybe it had POV options. You start on a mars-like planet and fly around blowing up bases I believe. I think later on you fight actual other space ships. it was slow, boring and kind of shitty.
The other was either an fps or tps and all I remember is a level inside of a large building that had a green toxic river inside of it. Absolutely nothing else comes to mind about this game.
The other, I believe, was an Ultima clone. looked almost like Tibia, had that same awful perspective. You picked wizard/warrior/whatever in the beginning and kind of wandered around aimlessly in this shitty world.
Might as well ask here. There is an old ms dos game that I played when I was five.
I remember it had sprite cutscenes that showed some sort of sci fi overlord getting progressively more and more pissed at his underling the further you got through the game.
The gameplay itself was first person; it took place in a desert, and as far as I could tell as a child the only goal was to reach the portal. There entire time a giant robot would chase you. Pretty sure you died if it caught you.
If anyone has any leads I would be very grateful

I used to have police quest: swat 2
excellent tactical isometric game, sort of in the vein of commandos or desperados buy with stiffer controls and more of an emphasis on realism. There was a full police and terrorist campaign. In the terrorist game you play as the leader of a cult, and you brainwash hostages onto joining you if you escape from the scene with them. You could do negotiations with the cops too if they dropped a phone for you.
Sort of interesting too because each character had a portrait (cops, terrorists and civvies alike) and they all looked like regular people - ugly, fat, disheveled hair, meth'd out. No beautiful people in this game.

>a she-vampire would kill you in a castle if you picked the wrong options
>playing dickass thief
>sneak into castle and open her coffin to stake her
>she wakes up before you can and demands to know what you're doing
>obvious roguish response is to lie and say you were trying to cop a feel
>next thing you know you're tied up in a dungeon and she's wearing dominatrix gear

Anon, you've inspired me. No porn because I don't trust myself to write good smut, but I hope you enjoy.

You end up in the dungeon no matter what you say, but after that line in particular it's a little awkward.
