So I want to start Wizardry 6 right now. Is there any tips you guys can give me so I don't get too much fucked? I want to use the same party untill Wizardry 8, so I want optmize some stuff.
Also, I already played Wizardry from 1 to 5, but this one looks a lot more complex, so I'm a bit overwhelmed.
The main differences:
-class changing is useful. Your attributes don't drop to the bottom and your abilities are often more dependent on your skills.
-you can save anywhere but there is no safe heaven.
-you can't replace party members. You're stuck with what you start with. In particular your ways to revive are very limited for parts of the game so you'll probably want to reload instead of carrying around corpses.
The standard tip for beginners is to get a bard. They start with a lute that can cast sleep for free which makes the early encounters more bearable.
Carrying capacity is dependent on your starting strength so don't skimp on it. Spellpoint regeneration is also dependent on your beginning choices but less critical.
