There's literally nothing wrong with Curse of Monkey Island. I don't give a fuck what Ron Gilbert's intentions were, if he had any, it's a fantastic game that continued to evolve the series. 'Escape' is where it all goes horribly wrong.

I have been waiting 23 years for the secret password at the end of the game to have a meaning and also for a real conclusion to the series. As it stands now, Ecco will forever be stuck in the tides of time. ;_;
