It was probably stored on its side for a while. It should correct itself after a few days.

It's just gausing probably from being moved around it'll go away on its own over time or you can degause it manually.

Go for it but if you get snowy artifacts you got a bad cable. The gausing just takes time, although lots of turning on and off can help. You'll get used to it before it actually disappears and then one day you'll realize you're not just ignoring it it's actually gone.

I bought a CRT PC monitor that had the exact same problem but on the left of the screen. I hit the degaussing button and it instantly went away. I'd say that you have the exact same problem. Since tvs can't be vegiassed as easily as monitors, I'd say what another anon has told you is correct. This problem should eventually correct itself after it has been turned on/off enough and has properly degaussed. Nice find and I hope you have a lot of fun with ot

what does degaussing do. My Olympus OEV143 has the degauss button, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to use it for.
