Has anyone played Screamer for PC98? This game is really intriguing to me but I can't find anything on it. Can someone give me a lowdown on what the fuck happens and what you actually do in the game?

Its a aesthetically boring dungeon crawler. It barely has audio.

It's a weird game. The game is played in a first person perspective and is a dungeon crawler however combat is a weird sidescroller kind of beat-em-up style. Basically you make your character and explore Beast City, your typical crime infested cyberpunk city, and eventually rise in power. Been awhile and I never made it far but I don't remember much else, sorry. It is pretty primitive and although the art is cool it can be annoying to play.
I'm guessing you know about it as you made this post but here is a link to the English translation. I'm quite surprised someone had even made this. Maybe the "DEHUMANIZE YOURSELF AND FACE TO BLOODSHED" quote boosted its popularity enough to the point of people actually wanting to play it.
