I just got pic related and it didn't come with a remote. There's no input select button on the tv, so I'm not able to switch to s video. What do I do? Are universal remotes an option?
Garbage.
If they come with a code list. Lots of universal remotes now make you rely on having the original remote to program it.
Though if you have a cable company their remotes are usually universal and you can use that in the meantime.
So some research on what remote came with it and get it off eBay or something. I did that with a Wega I got a few months ago, remote was like $5 shipped

Would another symphonic remote made for a crt work with it?

Most decent phones come with an ir blaster. Just use that

Yeah, I fell for the apple meme so I'm kinda stuck there

Oh, well, any universal remote should work. As far as I know you don't need to match up an older CRT with an older remote
Any universal from the thrift store should work.

Possibly. A lot of manufacturers reuse their IR sequences on several models.

Get a logitech harmony 650 remote.
Connect via USB to your computer and put in the TV model. It will download the complete codelist.

Much appreciated

um. yes actually. I have that exact tv I think. it doesn't work for av if you just turn it to channel 3?
>>4069994
Unfortunately not. A 3$ good will remote did the job

there's literally nothing wrong with not reading a thread and just responding based on a cursory glance of the op. sad!

Well there wouldn't be if the response posted was actually helpful to OP and other readers.
Unfortunately this was not the case.
