Favorite arcade games of the 80's? I'm on a major arcade kick lately and I've fallen in love with Tempest. Gyruss is also amazing

Joust. Love it, even own the arcade machine, as well as Joust 2. Chasing and beating your high scores is fun.

I love vector games so much. So happy to have a Vectrex.

Tempest and Starwars are two of my favorite

Also a big joust fan. But making player 2 cry is more fun than scores.

As a huge Star Wars fan as a kid I loved the Atari arcade game. I especially loved the sit-in version, it felt pretty immersive to be jumping into what felt like an X-Wing cockpit.

Had the game on the ZX Spectrum too.

also Discs of Tron, this cabinet was fucking gorgeous. It's all lit up on the inside, it really felt like you were stepping into the movie.
>>
>>4064674
I never really played Mappy, so I can't make a comparison.
>>
>>4064674
It's slower-paced and scoring is more about catching all the drops early while still doing all the extras in the level before the drops end. ie: punching thrown objects out the air, dropping shit on Bluto and grabbing the spinach and curbstomping him
