I beat Mega Man Legends for the first time on ePSXe yesterday, and finished the jet skates while doing a little post-game completion. Problem is, they don't work? I can equip them and take them off, even start the race challenge at the TV station, but Mega Man just runs the entire time and holding the circle button makes him walk like usual.
So obviously this is a bug, but I was wondering if this is normal when emulating the game and is there a trick to fix it? Google brings up nothing except a single person who may have had the same issue on Legends 2 if he didn't post it in the wrong GameFAQs forum.
I can't believe I'm about to suggest this, but are your bindings correct?
Other than that, it might be an emulator issue involving how the button press is executed.

I beat the game with them, so I believe so. Circle is the interact/walk button and that's the button the game tells me to use.
Stand still, just press and hold circle and they'll rev up and go. Or should. Takes a little time, about 2 seconds or so.

Oh, now it works. I didn't realize you had to stand still. Thanks!

Don't use EPSXE, it's the ZSNES of Playstation.

no, that would be bleem.

Someone always complains about epsxe on here. It's not great, but it does the job and I think for most people that's suffice for them.

Okay, what is a good PS1 Emulator, anon?

PS1 emulation isn't great anyway and EPSXE is at least easy to handle, though if one puts a little effort into it, Xebra is also managable.
