Gargoyle's Quest 1 and 2, Demon's Crest, Actraiser 1 and 2.
Skyblazer isn't as gothic as it is influenced by hindu mythologies, but it has a similar vibe.

I'll currently playing through the classicvania. I skipped II because the first 20 minutes were really shitty and tge pacing was much too slow. Does it get better ?

Also most of you probably already know them but I've decided to play through those kind of game because of Lecarde Chronicle and Curse of Illyos, two pretty great indie "retro" game. They're free so those who don't know them should probably check them out.
