I remember awhile back someone made a thread for just posting anything, let's get another going.
This thread is for posting literally anything related to retro games. Official art, fan art, magazine covers and ads, gifs, webms, links to websites or videos, anything is welcomed as long as pertains to the board's rules. If you have something you think is cool and want others to see post it here.
or just "/vr/-related images you never get to post"
Chanced upon a pair of umihara drawings in the back pages of some porn. Posting 1 of them with the source just in case they are not already well known.
I need more red overalls Mario and miyamoto-DK art.

What Famicom model is that?
>>4039649
It's a Twin Famicom, could read both cartridges and disks. They're seen as more of a collector's item now and are pretty expensive.
>>4039661
Oh shit. That looks really sick. Kind of wish I could have one now but there's probably better things to spend my cash on.
Since we're just posting pictures, would anyone post a neat wallpaper for me to use on my computer?
>>4039662
They're pretty cool but as I said, they're pretty expensive and really more of a collector's item. Most would rather just but a adapter or a famicom to play famicom games. The re-writable disks mean buyers never really know exactly what is on them until they buy it making it a niche market, though I have heard these are more reliable then the disk readers.

I don't really have any wallpapers but if you get an image you want to make into a wallpaper I know this site is said to be helpful.

That thread had a lot to choose from. Thanks!
I remember ripping a page out of an old comic book to hang this on my wall... now I kinda regret destroying the comic, and destroying the page too since the sticky tack left stains. Not that i'd still have it either way.

Sold this today. I have a lot of MSX machines, so I am making more room for the ones I use=)
Description:The HB-F5 is the first MSX2 computer released by Sony, aimed at the Japanese market. There are two colour varieties, either black or light gray.
Europe instead will have the HB-F9 in light gray the next year, which looks externally very similar to the HB-F5, but uses an MSX-Engine, has more RAM and a totally different firmware.
The power button is on the left of the machine, the reset button is located below the cartridge slots. This computer has a QWERTY Japanese keyboard with ANSI layout for kanas characters.
The machine comes with a built-in Personal Databank with saving on cassette tape or the HBI-55 data cartridge.
Official price: ¥84,800
The firmware is launched automatically when you boot the machine. Bypassing this software on startup requires the user to press the DEL key during startup until a Beep sound, or to insert a cartridge into one of the slots.
This software has 6 options: Mode 40 or 80 columns, BASIC, Address, Schedule, Memo, Transfer (replaced by Copy when a HBI-55 cartridge is present).
When there's a HBI-55 cartridge, it is possible in MSX-BASIC to save little programs on the data cartridge and to load / run them from this cartridge, with the commands SAVE"CAT:" and LOAD"CAT:".
By comparison with the HB-55 and HB-75 MSX1 machines, the firmware has been improved to support the addition of a disk drive. Besides, from MSX-BASIC, you can go back to the Personal Databank with CALL HITBIT or _HITBIT.

Are these in English and how "anime" are they? I love stuff like dragon quest and mother so this sounded cool when I initiallty read about it but if it's more of a parody of anime maybe I won't like it. I don't read/watch much anime, only normalfag stuff like ghibli, lupin iii, and tezuka really.
