Frostman first, Tenguman last.. Tenguman is favorite robotmaster in MM8. On the other hand Shadowman is the greatest robot of all time, of all the Mega man series. Skull and Top can fight for the second and third spots.

I've beaten grenademan and frostman with buster many times too. Searchman is kind of a pain in the ass tho. And astroman, i honestly don't know.

Then why haven't you "ever tried" ? Just give it a go, it's much more rewarding, weakness got really ridiculous in some of the later MM games, to the point it feels like cheating when then weakness deals insane dmg and locks the boss into repeating the same simple attack over and over.

because astroman's level is annoying as fuck and i wanna get over it ASAP. If i could do some savescumming i might try it, even if i already have searchman's weapon. But i never felt like it. Problem?
