How does Tactics Ogre LUCT on SNES compare to the SNES Fire

I tried recently this game, and is sloooooooow. Too slow for my tastes.

I love this game but finished it because of how terrible grinding is. The PSP remake doesn't really fix it either.

What? You only have to grind if you reach 25 (I think) with a class way too early, you have to use almost exclusively that class for that to happen (which I do, I love my archer army). If you do that, enemies get a massive boost and you're left with no equips to match them.
