Final Fight is inferior in every way to SOR, except in porn and relevance. Being a Capcom property and being released in arcades and a Nintendo platform helped it be more popular, but it's inferior. That however doesn't mean it's a bad series, but SOR is better in music, gameplay and designs.

Sega really should have released a SOR game for the arcades back in the day, it would have cemented the franchise a lot more for those that didn't have a Genesis but still frequented arcades.
