I wanted to share this with you. It's an article from the first issue of PC Gamer I ever owned, and through all these years it's stuck in my head. This is a feature the magazine did about the 1995 Game Developers Conference, and I honestly consider it some of the best goddamn writing I've ever read about video games. Somehow, it just perfectly captures the magic, insanity and wonder of this incredible era in game development. I hope this brings back memories for those who lived through this time, or gives some sort of insight into just how incredible the medium seemed back then.

It just perfectly captures the magic, insanity and wonder of how fucktards with nothing of value to say wrote pages of filler for magazines in the days before blogs.
Maybe things got better after the first column but I don't read an article about a conference to hear about some fuck eating lunch and renting a car.
