what was the most obscure/shitty/lesser known playstation game you have played
Pic related, it was the first time in my life I considered suicide might be a better option.
Got this for 10p at a car boot sale.
Not that bad considering.

Probably this.
I enjoyed this, I can't recall anyone on /vr/ mentioning this game.
Shame it's so little known, considering how good it is.

The music is amazing too.

Considering it is based on a popular IP, I doub't it's all that obscure.
Smurf cart racing.
Most boring Zelda clone I have ever played. Shame because the music was pleasant.

I remember thinking as a kid that it didn't need to be so fucking dark everywhere and having that completely ruin the game for me.
I liked this game. Don't think I've ever seen it mentioned anywhere.
Legend of Kartia
So bad it put me off SRPGs for years to come.
Probably this. I had a bunch of the Tyco RC cars and thought this would be fun. I must have started it up about five times total. I think most of the effort went towards the title pun.
official playstation magazine demo disk 42
>dat net yaroze compilation
other than that,
music
who wants to be a millionaire
I had a pirated disk of Hugo 2

>from the producer of crash bandicoot

>>3946462
This game is fucking great
>>3946983
Huh. I remember the demo from a demo disc.
However, I figured this was the main theme, because it played throughout the whole demo.

Oh shit, completely forgot about this game.

>official playstation magazine demo disk 42
FUCKING YES
I also had Music, it was ok.
an obscure pal/jp-only pseudo-jrpg sequel to an obscure survival horror game
I'll always treasure it
...Iru!
a Jap exclusive first person survival horror, in between Echo Night and Clock Tower
Back when I discovered it, it was nowhere to be found on the western internet. Then I uploaded it on Underground Gamer, my friend put it on Mobygames and the game started to spawn a bit everywhere. So it's a bit less obscure now.
>>3948481
That's basically the same as making the game. You should be proud
Also Devilman, another jap exclusive survival horror. Gameplay is kinda like Silent Hill Shattered Memories before its time, when fleeing from enemies.
Game turns full on beat em up half way through though.
>>3948486
T-t-thanks I am! ^_^
I'm just saying the game is less obscure now, since the point of the thread IS obscurity.
this was a real POS

Rugrats: Search for Reptar
I would actually start the game when friends came over because the mini golf mini game's 2 player mode was pretty good.
>>3948481
>underground-gamer
God I miss that site. I hear they've started a new one but it's basically impossible to get in.
Shame, too, because I have a treasure trove of weird stuff.
>>3950425
One of the most brutally boring platformer games ever made. The funny thing though is that it was rated one of the top ten worst mascots in gaming.
>>3950524
That game is actually extremely well-known and frequently talked about on /v/.
>>3950656
>one of the top ten worst mascots in gaming.
what was #1?
>>3950730
without looking, bubsy.
>>3950576
ggn? ugc? retro within?
>>3947373
Better known as "That game with Amano art on the cover"
I always wanted it, but it was too expensive. I dunno what it costs now.
>>3951996
>retro within
heard of it. desperate for an invite. i even have a printscreen of my old account somewhere, but who do you send it to? would it be worth worrying about?
>>3953468
No idea. Could post on /r/trackers if you're interested. There's also pleasuredome but I'm not sure what's on there.

Nigga just use a fake email they don't send confirmations. It's a painless process.
>>3950751
Sure it's not Pinobee?
>>3946719
How have i literally never heard of this game? Damn
>>3956679
>Midas
Are Midas, Phoenix and Titus the 3 publishers that only make/publish bad games only?
>>3950576
>but it's basically impossible to get in.
Just go to the irc and tell them you used to have an account on UG and would like an invite.
>>3956726
seems so,
no wonder they ended up in the "value series"
