My game crashes when I enter the secret passage in Flagard and talk to Conrad for the first time.

I'm so close to the end of the game and really want to begin scenario 2
Any ideas?

If it is the emulator itself check the wiki in the sticky for alternatives, OP.

You are either using the wrong patch, or you are using it in the wrong revision (the game had two revisions I think, and I dunno if the patch works with both.

Have you tried another copy? Could be an error on the disc.

Burn an unpatched version, see if it crashes in the same scene (you should be able to get far enough with moonrunes, from your last save).
If it doesn't crash, it's the fault of the patch.
