So what's the deal with repro n64 carts? Are they ok if you just want to play the game or do they work shitty
>>3927707
I'm sure they work fine, but you're better off saving your money and getting an everdrive 64.
Just get a flashcart dum dum. The chinese knockoff ed64p is about 60-70$

But I already have all the games I want.
I can get a Clayfighters: Directors Cut repo for $20 and call it done.
>>3927830
what is wrong with the regular clayfighters
>>3927832
Directors cut has more content and fixes a few issues with the original.

Repros are fine and all but your two options are shitty but cheap chinese prints that have a 50-50 chance to work fine or die, or $40-$100 carts from etsy shops that make repros
>>3928009
99% of the sellers on etsy just import chinese stuff and sell them at a markup.
Especially with N64 i doubt you would see any hobbyist making these.

it doesnt make it into a good game though
>>3929679
Yeah, but I'd rather play the superior version, even if i am just playing for shits and giggles.
Fuck paying $300 for the real cart.
>>3929692
thats true. I personally just wouldnt even bother
Not OP here, but I do have a sort of conundrum. I really want to play DarXide, but the only way I can get it is by buying a repro from RetroGamerRyan.
The real cart itself costs 2K as far as I've seen and fuck that noise, but I'm not sure I want to buy a repro.
Should I get the Repro? Does anyone know if his work? He does actually make them himself, but are they worth the $40? I've already got everything else I want for 32X as it is.
Please help. I just wanna know if I'm pussyfooting around here or if I should just abandon ship on this title in general.

Sorry, just found out he charges $55 for it just to be in an actual 32X cart case. So I'd pay that, because I don't do this awkward husk thing.
