I am a simple man who wants to play retro games on my regular dell laptop (not a gaming pc or raspberry pi or anything). Is this the best usb SNES controller for my money?
Buffalo is a great controller for the price, assuming it's $12 or less. Any more than that and you're getting ripped off.
I really like their Famicom-style controller, too. It's modeled on the Famicom, but it has 4 face and 2 shoulder buttons so it's SNES compatible.
Yes. I mean, I think it's very good.

Buffalo makes some good stuff. I have pic related, very good for Sega games.

what a fucking piece of shit

It has a really nice feel, and it has both 6 face buttons and 4 shoulder buttons, so it's still compatible with games made for the modern standard. The buttons are a bit small, but it works neat.

Sorry OP, but start a generic USB controller thread if you don't want to look like a total shill.

2 questions;
1) Does this controller feel better than an 8bitdo SNES controller?
2) Is there any way to use this Buffalo controller on a Wii?

not really, but it has turbo and it's cheaper. I would get the Buffalo unless you must have wireless.
On the other hand, for wireless controllers the Dualshock 4 is about as high-quality as you can get, and the dpad is very well-suited for retro. Plus it's free if you already own a PS4.
So I would skip the 8bitdo either way. Don't know about Wii support.
