Did Super Bomberman 3 use a different sound engine unlike

They give the sound programmers a limited work ram that they must work around as they translate the composer's music into the game. This is why one game will sound crystal clear and the other one sounds like the game is down a hallway.

Super Bomberman 1-5 all have varying sound quality. Never bugged me.

I couldn't get past the final world or boss though, big difficulty jump for some reason
