PSP 3000 vs PS Vita

Which is better for emulation? Which is easier to emulate on?

Vita emulators are a mixed bag but that dpad is the best

The actual Vita device is better, so currently I just use adrenaline on it.

Native Vita emulation is rough as fuck right now, and needs some time. PSP is still king.

Which has the least bugs, the more compatable working time for the emulators?

For $100 or even $200, I want near perfect emulation on the main retro systems.

Not him but in my experience the psp has treated me well.

Nes: pretty good. I notice a few things very rarely but for the most part everything runs fine.

Snes: This is the buggiest one. While things run okay I notice a lot of smaller things like waves across the screen. As I said, everything runs fine though.

Genesis: Runs great, no problems in my experience. I've run a single sega cd game and it was good as well, not sure on 32x.

GB/GBC: As above, runs great.

Ps1: Runs great but a bit limited. Games like ape escape where you need the analog stick can be played but its a real bitch. A few titles also require specific conditions to run or just flat out don't work.

Not retro but gba also runs amazingly. While the vita is obviously better technically it doesn't have the accessabliity of the psp. I haven't even tried things like 2600, turbografix, scumm, and even mame which the psp can run. Its a neat little device and for $50 or under its great.

Then spend another $100 for a GPD WIN or chase down an Nvidia Shield handheld going cheap. Vita homebrew is complicated and patchy while PSP emulation is less than perfect

Though in reality I expect PSP emulation will be "near" enough for you when PSPs are only $30 compared to many times that for better performers
