Also, yeah, welcome to /vr/, most action games can be beaten un an hour or so. No tutorials or FMVs to fill up the playtime.

No, I didn't even know that you 'had' to collect them. I thought they were like the rings in Sonic games.
I had this game since I was a child but never played it through until now, frustrating at times but surprisingly short.

I played through all of the DKC games and every single one took me hours to complete it 100%.

pretty short. parents would only let me play SNES for an hour or two as a kid before they made me turn it off and go outside. This was a game I could routinely beat in that time.
