Which of these games is the best? I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy and I'm looking to start collecting lesser known Nintendo puzzle games. Preferably games featuring Nintendo characters, like these.
Dr. Mario > Wario's Woods > Yoshi

> Lesser known
> with Nintendo mascots
...pick one...

You know what I mean. Outside of the retro gaming community, they're not exactly classics. Most casual/modern players have never played or heard of Wario's Woods, and they probably only know about Dr. Mario because of Smash.

That's sadly true of basically all NES puzzle games outside of Tetris. People just don't know about them because they aren't memes and people don't do let's plays of them.
By the way, get Mendel Palace. It's a puzzle game that was advertised as an action game. It's best played in co-op (2-player) mode.

Personally
Wario > Dr. Mario > Yoshi
I had Yoshi on Gameboy. Pretty sure it's the exact same game as on NES.
Never liked it.
I fucking love the music on the SNES Wario's Woods though

You forgot Yoshi's Cookie.

Wario's Woods > Tetris > Dr. Mario > any Lolo game > Yoshi's Cookie > crap > Yoshi
Play Moai Kun instead
Great puzzle platformer with a perfect difficulty curve

Dr. Mario was a pretty well known game.
This game is mostly just remembered for its ridiculous branding, but it's actually a pretty fun twist on the Pipe Dream idea
Terri's Attack is by far the best puzzle game ever made

You mean Panel de Pam right?
>>3881704
Are there anymore Nintendo themed ones, besides Yoshi which somebody else already pointed out?
>>3882620
You mean Panel de Pon, right?

Wario's Woods was my favorite, personally.
I was never really into Dr. Mario, but it's alright.
Yoshi is garbage, don't bother with it.

Did you forget about Yoshi's Cookie?
Dr. Mario and Yoshi / Mario & Yoshi are just far too simplistic to be enjoyable. I really don't understand the love for Dr. Mario specifically. Wario's Woods had a lot more gameplay depth. Yoshi's Cookie was also pretty enjoyable.
