ITT: /vr/ purchases you regret
Pic related, it was only $8 but I'm still regretful to this day. Is there a worse port in existence? Unless the 2600 got one
It did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLyJS8mlCLY

I remember enjoying this at my friend's birthday party in the 80s but I don't remember the port quality at all now.
We spent most of the night playing Gauntlet 2 anyway.

That looks a heck of a lot closer to the arcade than the DOS version I used to play the hell out of an was still fun. Spy Hunter was pretty great back then, not so sure how any version holds up now though.

Spy Hunter on NES was a pretty good port IMHO. You haven't witnessed tragedy like playing Double Dragon in the arcade and buying this shit. As a kid I had instant remorse. I used my birthday money and got this pile of shit at children's palace. I've been a bitter cynical fuck ever since. Thanks Tradewest.
Contemporary ports were inferior to their arcade versions? You don't say!

My family got the master system version
So many good memories of playing it co-op with my brothers
Super Ghouls & Ghost. I fell for the hype and got burned for it. The game is just not my cup of tea.

NES Spy Hunter is one of my favorite games of all time, what's your beef bro?

The best good ports are of pre-famicom arcade games. Spy hunter may only be on 1984 era hardware but it's also a vertical monitor game which adds another layer of complexity on a port.

I've bought a lot and never regretted anything. But then I never used my moms credit card to buy shit games on ebay and got grounded for it. lel
