There isn't, GITS is a unique game. You could try Jumping Flash 1 and 2 which were made by the same dev studio. It doesn't really play like GITS though.

panzer dragon,omega boost and zone of the enders comes to mind but these are kinda different

FWIW, the PS2 GiTS game has a level like it, but I think it's only 1 level, and it's super short, and no wall climbing.

The lock-on kind of reminded me of Panzer Dragoon.

I also thought about mentioning Forsaken (and Descent, I guess), but still that's a far cry from GITS, the only similarity is the uniqueness of them, but they're really not similar in gameplay, you aren't floating in the air with the Fuchikoma.

Did the price for this game jumped cause of the movie coming out? I swear it wasn't priced like this on ebay before.

Ah. I probably should grab it soon then before the price jumps in the future. Maybe next month it won't shoot to 100+ dollars cause of the movie. Hopefully the movie flops so no one will be interested.
