It's essentially Hudson's entry into the console market. Unfortunately, third-party support wasn't very strong. But if you like Bomberman and shmups, then it might be a worthwhile investment.

TG16 also has some considerably good arcade ports, like Fantasy Zone. It's nowhere near the same quality as arcade ports for x68k, but still...

Are there any CD games that are worthwhile besides Rondo? It can be emulated easily enough so if it's the main reason to get the CD attachment it probably isn't worth it for me since it seems like any CD compatible setup for the tg16 is double what a stock model costs on ebay.

They switched hair/outfit colors on the console versions. On the arcade games, Player 1 was a blond guy in blue and Player 2 was a brown haired guy in red.
