So I've been trying to research how to get the .sav save states from my android's GENPLUSdroid genesis emulator to work in KEGA fusion, but I can't find anything on google or elsewhere.
Is there a way to load the save states from my GENPlusDroid emulator on KEGA Fusion, or am I out of luck?
pic related, I'm trying to get my Starflight on multiple formats for great pleasure
Savestates generally aren't transferable between emulators. If you have an actual game save you can usually transfer it over, but not a save state.

They if you be transferred if you do some hacking.

Unlikely. Save states have no "real world" counterpart like a game save, they're entirely implementation dependent by the emulator devs. They're not just a raw memory dump or anything (even if they were, there's no objective rules for how such a memory dump should be arranged), they also contain state for the emulator itself.

Huh? Maybe you could write a save state recompiler, or some shit!
Emus are very different from each other, even for the same consoles.
The language in which, an emulator is written. Is just the tip of the iceberg for problems, when trying to transfer a save state!

Now I remember what I did. It was the battery memory that I transferred in between TG16 emulators. I opened the memory files with a hex editor and copied/removed the headers (don't remember it exactly).
