importfags, who do you use for proxy bidding?
my old guy got deported. i tried emailing a new place over a week ago with no response, so at the very least i know they're unprofessional and won't be dealing with them.
i tried posting this in /jp/ but the thread got deleted, i'm assuming because i didn't include anything in the OP about sniffing a 2hu, so i hope it's ok here.

When I was doing heavy importing I did it all through individuals on specialty forums. I still get my Famicom stuff that way for the most part, but I've nearly picked up all the carts I want at this point. Loose shit is still pretty reasonable on fleabay from time to time as well.

I use Shopping Mall Japan and like it. Mind you I don't buy many games through it, mostly posters. However, I have always gotten my items in great condition and they have good customer support.

I've been using Japan Auction Agency for 9 years.

Try asking in /cgl/ they do a lot of importing and they might have a thread up already.

i found a few there, thanks for the tip
japonica seems cool, i might just wait until they start accepting new customers again

I just buy from ebay, because common stuff costs the exact damn same as middleman feeds + two shipping prices + the item price.
There's only a few less known things that I could only get from yahoo auctions, but I can pirate 99% of them, and I can live without owning the odd doujin cd.

i'm looking for hardware so downloading isn't an option unfortunately. some things will pop up on enthusiast forums bet the options are few and far between. i'd rather just grab the next one i see off yahoo even if it isn't in the greatest shape, than deal with the endless waiting and negotiating with someone reluctantly putting the crown jewel of their collection up for sale
I contacted a girl called Mai who mostly did shopping service for goth lolis.
She was so sweet, always included candy and other stuff when she sent me the packages.
Lost her contact many years ago sadly.
She charged me 20% of the total, which was cheaper than other services like Celga, etc.
