>tfw everyone else considers snes mario kart to be the worst in the series
it's better than mario kart 64 imo
>>3825970
I thought it was the best until 8.
It's still my personal favorite.
64 felt too shitty, Double Dash was too unconventional, Wii was too casual, and the handheld ones just weren't the same because Mario Kart has always been a big deal for local multiplayer.
>>3825970
It's a lot better than the n64, gba and DS versions. Those are the only ones i've played though.
>tfw you feel the need to make ANOTHER Mario Kart thread to whine about this shit
>>3825970
But the worst in the series is Double Trash
>>3826025
Nah.
GOD TIER
1. MKDS
2. MK8
GOOD TIER
3. MK7
OKAY TIER
4. MKDD
5. MK64 (almost certainly nostalgia blinded on this one but oh well)
SHIT TIER
9001. SMK
84947303730. MKWii
Never played super circuit
Sure am glad I didn't touch mario kart 8 on the wii u. Now I can enjoy the whole thing, at 1080p, without having to pay extra for DLC, with all new characters and an actual battle mode added. Damn I love it when I don't do things.

I don't feel the GBA version gets shit on a enough. I think folks tend to forget it even exists.
obviously the worst mario kart is the one for the gba.
why are people this fucking stupid.
>>3825970
It has the best tracks.
If it was 4 player it'd be the best in the series.
>>3826054
Super Circuit is Super Mario Kart done right. The opponents in Super Mario Kart have unlimited and special items and the karts handle like shit. Super Circuit fixed that shit.
I was watching some gameplay of it, and it gives me a slight headache.
The background, and track look to be moving but your kart isn't.
Is that how it is? i don't notice in other racing games.
What's the point of making a thread like this?
Whenever anyone suggests that SMK falls flat compared to anything but MK64, someone's going to whine about it not being retro.
As far as this board is concerned, the only two Mario Kart games that exist are SMK and MK64, and calling something "the worst in the series" in a series of only two entries is ridiculous.
What's the reason to hate MK64 again? Other than it being popular with "normies".
>>3826108
I think you're correct that the track moves but you dont
>>3826016
This, what's even the point of threads like this? "Durr, people don't like my favorite game! Let me keep on making the same thread over and over again so they'll admit I'm right!".I like both Mario Kart games.

I don't know too, at least MK64 introduced more interesting courses with personality instead of variations of the same flat thing.
Us youngins born in the early 90s could never get used to the wonky handling in the snes version because of the faux 3d.
MK64 is arguably the best. Its powerslide is a lot more technical and difficult to pull off well, and you need to powerslide to play it fully as intended, I have a feeling a lot of people just expect to be able to pick up and play from scratch like in other Mario Kart games which are far more forgiving.

SC belongs In between the okay tier and the shit tier.
