They pretty much suck. Quest for Glory is really the only worthwhile series Sierra made until Gabriel Knight.

If you played all the way through all 8 King's Quest games then I don't know how you could possibly be worried you didn't give them a chance?

King's Quest 6 is the only good game in the whole series. The first one was probably charming when it came out, though.

Point and click adventure games are the worst video game genre. Not a single game worth playing.
