Just because it's first person doesn't make it a shooter. Even in normal mode there's not enough ammo to kill everything and if you don't hoard ammo there's two or three parts where you'll be in serious trouble. I had to go back and scour for hidden caches my first play through. It really does a good job of getting back to its roots while also modernizing.
