I don't want to fuck around with CRTs, I want to play some retro consoles on a big LCD TV. Should I get it? Price isn't really an issue.
You might as well just emulate, buy a rPi3 or NES mini and hack that.
>Price isn't really an issue
Yes then. It's good. Might want to upgrade that LCD too while you're making it rain.
Enjoy your lagmeister OP
Get ossc instead. No (near zero) lag.
Buy a decent low-lag LCD gaming monitor.
Use an emulator that handles all the scaling/shading for you.
Gaming nirvana.

If price really doesn't matter then yes it would be good for you. I use one myself and have nothing bad to say about it. I've heard some people say before they've noticed the delay with fighting games. I own a ton of retro vidya but not really any fighting games so I can't confirm that from personal experience. Everything else though has worked flawlessly that I've thrown at this upscaler so far.

Oh I should add you need to be prepared to get rgb cables and whatnot if you want good picture. Using component with the Framemeister isn't gonna make your games look pretty.

Component is indistinguishable from RGB.
I hope you meant to say composite.

Indeed, oops.
