Wat? I finished this two years ago on PJ64 1.6 without glide! Pretty much only activated glide when photographing banana fairies.
Few graphical glitches but otherwise no problems whatsoever.

Last time I checked, SNES emulation is near perfect. It's mostly just n64 emulation that's shit, but even then you can run most games nearly perfectly.

What happened to CEN64? What about that Vulkan-based shit? When are we gonna see a new golden age of n64 emulation?

CEN64 is still pretty early in development, and hasn't even started on optimization, so you need a pretty beefy computer.
Mupen64-vulkan is also pretty recent and is limited to being a libretro-core at the moment.
