EA Hockey is great fun for all, and Madden's alright when you get your head around it.
>>
Plenty of fun EA games iirc. The Immortal is chock full of bullshit deaths, but it's got a black sense of humor about it.

all of them should be easy on the wallet
>>

>all of them should be easy on the wallet
Should be but over the last couple years collecting for the Genesis has become more and more expensive. Still a good amount of playable cheaper finds tho, hence the thread.

Also IMO, easy on the wallet should be around $10 or less.

DecapAttack

I preferred Urban Strike. Eerie pre 9/11 predictions..
>>
Kid Chameleon.

Also, people give Altered Beast shit but I love it.

check out the prices on phantasy star iv or crusader of centy
>>
The sega classics versions of games should be cheaper than the first prints You can get shinobi games cheaper that way. Streets of Rage 1 is still cheapish, the sequels are getting expensive though.
>>
>>3793449
Some American and Euro games are good and since nobody wants them, they are cheap as heck.

How do the Strike games on Genesis compare to their SNES counterparts?
>>
>>3794836

Genesis has better bass and the intro theme music to Desert Strikes sounds WAY cooler to me on Genesis than SNES imo.

Other than that though I don't notice much of a difference.

The 6-pak is still a cheap pick up. 4 out of 6 games being essential must play Genesis titles with the other two being decent give you a lot of bang for your buck.
>>
>>3793449

I just bought Sub Terrania and Aladdin for $15 combined
>>
>>3794836
They are better all around
>>
>>3794836

They're uncensored and better in everyway.

Now you've got me curious.
What do you consider the lesser two to be?

Columns & Super Hang-On

Not that I find them bad games(quite the opposite), but if I had to jot down essential must play Genesis games they wouldn't be on that list while the other 4 would be.

I owned this "pak" but barely ever played Super Hang-On, it always just seemed like Road Rash without the fighting to me so I never got into it.

Am I wrong?

Arcade mode is what I mostly stuck with. Original mode starts off way too slow but it can be fun once your able to afford better parts. Overall it's decent but like most cases involving arcade ports the original is way better.

Bump.

While not a "great" game, I have a special place in my heart for Vectorman. First double jump in a platformer that actually makes sense and you can do damage to enemies while doing it. I need to play the sequel again. I remember thinking it was better but it has been years since I played it.
>>
>>3794836
They're better overall. The SNES resolution hurts those games. Everything is zoomed in and there's less visible area on screen.
