SA2 perfected everything wrong with the original. All the Shadow stages were God-tier.

I know it's not retro (and neither is Heroes for that matter) but the ps2 port of SA2 is the greatest Sonic to this day. In my honest opinion desu.

To be fair, if I were to declare any game in the series as Sonic Adventure 3, it's between Heroes and 06, and 06 would best be left forgotten.

I think 3 could have been on another system, it's not the system that made Sonic Adventure what it was, it was, in my opinion, the stye, and the interwoven stories of each character/side's campaign.

All Heroes needed was the 2D uekawa artwork and a little bit of real world inspiration and it would be an alright SA3 in my opinion.

I still think Heroes is better then SA2.

not play completely differently, but you're basically being forced to play the same fucking game four times just with different enemy placements - there was the Chaotix mode and some stages ended at different points but it was still practically the same damn thing
