I have a 1 chip SNES and my Game Genie does the exact same thing. Maybe they just don't get along for whatever reason? Mine goes as far as ruining color pallets and such. Like just very clearly not working properly levels of video issues.

I looked into it for a sec and it appears it does not, there's a listing that had 3 in the US for under 45 shipped in the US, I snagged one. There's one left if you wanna grab it.

How hard is it to fine 1 chip models? I just opened my SNES I had as a kid for the first time and it happens to be one of the 1 chip models. Is this a good thing? Sorry, don't know much about PCB revisions for the system.

You can generally tell its a 1chip from the SN. UN32 is what the start with. They might Start in the UN31 range but it's very close.

i just googled something like pro action replay snes mini 1chip and read some forum posts. Saw 3 or so that said it worked and ordered one. I don't think they're model 2's. The games I'm thinking of using it with aren't fx titles anyway.

I might go for a Mk2.

The Mk3 is far to expensive and really only seems to be available in German. Can write the English bios to a ROM and switch it out though.

yeah my needs are very basic lol, looking at some games it seems the infinite lives I want is only available with a PAR in a lot of cases anyway. Hopefully it works in my SNES, i have faith it will though.
