Hello /vr/
What actually makes Deus Ex so good and/or well loved? I've been reading a couple of reviews and they have been very vague about what exactly makes the game good. Like, they say something about choices and consequences, but they don't give any concrete examples of the sort of things you can do in game. I'd really appreciate it if someone can give me a concrete example like that. Something I can do ingame that shows the game's apparent freedom.

Why not play it and see for yourself?

Thus video explains what the fuzz it's all about, personally I highly recommend the game, it's quite the experience

Fair enough. I'll put it in the backlog.

Seems to me like stealth leads to the most creativity according to that video. I usually don't have the patience for that though. Is Deus Ex still fun with maximum aggression?

I'd say it's a case of the sum being far greater than the parts.
Even back in the day it had dodgy graphics and dodgy gameplay, but as stealth/fps/rpg with good storytelling and atmosphere it really comes together

It is fun, but much harder. It's not a simple run and gun, you still have to be pretty creative in your violence for the most part

I used speed augmentation and the dragon's sword in my first play through
