Am I the only one?
What other games did you always pronounce wrong?
For the longest time, I pronounced Ocarina of Time as ORCArina, like the orca whale.
I'm not American, and I already heard a lot of American people saying "Ninja Gay-den", Ryu as "Rái-u", and a lot of things like this. Funny.

these are both correct

Apparently its supposed to be pronounced like AHcarina, but I've never called it that in my life. I've always said OHcarina.

AHcarina has become the amerucan pronunciation, but OHcarina is the proper pronunciation.

As a kid, I pronounced Mech like the English word "mesh".
Still awesome game. I loved the music in the bar.
Germany here btw.
As a kid I never clicked that his name simply rhymed with Mario.
Used to call him "wah-ry-oh".

Pokeemon and Poke-ayyyy-mon are both acceptable to me. What pisses me off is Poke-uh-mon, which seems to be the most common pronunciation in my area. Like, how the fuck is a 20 year old word already getting vowel shifted?

I used to work in a public school.
You should hear the fucked up neo-English words coming out of these kids mouths.
