I think it's barely noticeable, I recommend Lakka over Retropie, I think it has less input lag.

Make a little .webm of that then, unless you want to keep getting called out on your shitty video over and over. I use a Gamecube -> SNES adapter and get almost zero lag, so evidence like that would at least be worthy of discussion.

Even then emulation has advantages like choice of pad, online play, romhacks, etc I see nothing wrong with emulating something you already have.
