ITT: Times when /vr/ lied to you
>No campaign mode so I just roll with Boss Attack mode
>Hey this roster is huge, I'm gonna choose the clown guy
>First two levels go by pretty well, liking it so far
>Third part is when shit hits the fan. Boss takes half your health in one hit meanwhile your chainsaw can't even oneshot the goons he throws out, even the rev up mode with the Chainsaw does fuck all on the actual boss compared to the at least half health he takes from you
>Unlike greatly designed games, this just feels like there was nothing you could do to prevent it rather than having to rethink your strategy, considering that it doesn't matter what range you're in, he'll still fuck you up
Shame on you /vr/. Hidden gem my ass, it wasn't even worth that CD-R.

>can't come up with a reason as to why my criticism of Spawn is false
Nice ad hominem.

Maybe you're just bad at games.
>>3713086
Brats like you have skyrocked it's price so people like my having hard times affording it.
Get lost kid.
I don't recall having any trouble beating this 20 years ago.

Heavy Metal Geomatrix is superior in every way.

There's probably a counter to the boss that I just haven't fully realized yet. Seems like there has to be a weak point of some kind considering the sheer strength of fighting the boss directly

>Buying Dreamcast games when burning is pathetically easy
I never bought this game.

Game came out in 1999.
>>3713464
I'll have to try that one then

6/10 game would not pay more then 6bucks for it and even that is twice as nice
The roster in this game was really unbalanced. Guys like Spawn couldn't do shit. I used to use Tremor and his trigger attack where he extends his arm would kill everything in one hit.

If I recall correctly, Brimstone was really good too.

Loved this game. I would play through it multiple time a day.
