I think Anime Adaptations actually stepped up in quality ever since the remake of Kanon (the 1st attempt was pretty bad)

There haven't been many adventure adaptions in recent years and most of them were for female audiences. Male oriented in 2016 were only Rewrite and Aokana. And that was a step up from 2015 where you only had the second cours for UBW and Grisaia.

You can't really do Yu-no justice with a linear medium but maybe they can adapt one of the main routes while including some time traveling.
It can't really be worse than the first anime.
